ABOUT US
Core Youth Coalition provides 24-hour sitter services designed to meet the diverse needs of children in critical settings, including emergency childcare at local hospitals, Department of Child Services (DCS) offices, and resource linkage centers.
Our trained sitters are responsible for maintaining clear communication with staff, providing regular updates on the child's behavior, and documenting all interactions with medical personnel. They ensure comprehensive records of the child's behavior during their assigned shift, while also securing necessary medical documentation and reports from nursing staff regarding the child's care.
In addition to observation and documentation, our sitters actively engage with the child, offering support and assistance, while working in collaboration with medical and DCS staff to monitor and manage the child’s well-being.
Core Youth Coalition operates with field supervisors centrally located in Chattanooga, Nashville, and Knoxville, allowing us to effectively serve the regions of Crossville, Lawrenceville, Shelbyville, Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Sevierville.

MANAGEMENT AVAILABILITY
Core Youth Coalition ensures 24/7 availability of a dedicated field manager to support the needs of children in crisis. Our operations manager is on-call around the clock, providing consistent and reliable communication with both medical and Department of Child Services (DCS) staff.

The field manager serves as the primary point of contact for any issues or concerns that may arise during the course of care, ensuring timely and effective coordination between all involved parties. Whether it's facilitating updates on the child’s condition, addressing behavior observations, or relaying critical information, the operations manager is readily accessible to ensure seamless collaboration.

This level of availability reflects our commitment to providing continuous oversight and high-quality care for children, regardless of the time or situation. By maintaining open lines of communication with medical personnel and DCS staff, Core Youth Coalition ensures that the needs of both the children and the service providers are met promptly and professionally.
