Empowering Youth. Inspiring Compassion.
Core Youth Coalition offers a 24-hour sitter service in order to meet the needs in different areas such as emergency childcare in the local hospitals, DCS offices, and local resource linkage centers.
The sitter will communicate with staff to report observations of the child's behaviors. Also, sitters will maintain a detailed record of interactions with medical personnel, any notation of the child's behaviors during the assigned time, and ensure that reports and medical documentation are obtained from nursing staff regarding the child's care. Also, our sitters will have the ability to engage with the child, medical staff, and DCS staff through monitoring, supporting, and assisting youth.
